The short version
OrganiLock makes three things, and they work as a system:
- Soil Food rebuilds tired or depleted soil from the ground up - the deep foundation. It also works as a top-dress to feed plants through the season (think a sprinkle of cinnamon on applesauce).
- Refresh re-feeds the soil you already have, in a version tuned for where you grow. The easy seasonal maintenance.
- Plant Food gives plants a fast, direct boost when they want one. The quick liquid feed.
Most growers start with Soil Food or the right Refresh, then add Plant Food (or more Soil Food) for a boost.
Start here: what's your situation?
- Starting a new bed, or restoring badly depleted ground? Reach for Soil Food - it's the most concentrated, all-purpose product, and the one that's OMRI Listed. It also broadcasts well at larger scale (the pellet sizes).
- Re-feeding soil you already have? Pick the Refresh made for your spot:
- Raised beds -> Raised Bed Refresh
- Flower pots, planters, and patio containers -> Flower Pot Refresh
- Indoor houseplants -> House Plant Refresh
- Trees, shrubs, and landscape beds -> Landscape Refresh
- Want a quick, direct boost for a transplant, a mid-season push, or a houseplant that needs a lift? Add Plant Food, the fast liquid feed - a foliar spray or a root drench.
Soil Food or Refresh - which one?
They both feed the soil's living biology; the difference is fit and convenience. Soil Food is the concentrated original - the best choice for a serious rebuild, a brand-new bed, or a larger area, and it's the OMRI-Listed product. Refresh is the same idea made easy: pre-tuned and right-sized for one job, so you don't have to think as much about rates. A first-time container gardener is happiest with Flower Pot Refresh; someone restoring a worn-out garden bed is better served by Soil Food.
Can I use more than one?
Yes - that's the system. A common rhythm: build or restore the soil with Soil Food, keep it fed each season with the right Refresh, and reach for Plant Food - or a top-dress of Soil Food - whenever you want a fast boost. They're designed to work together.
How much do I need?
Once you've picked a product, the OrganiLock calculator tells you exactly how much for your beds, pots, or planting area - no guesswork. For current sizes and prices, check the product page or your local retailer.
